A private dealership whose aim is to offer fine quality Japanese and other Asian art of ultimate authenticity and high aesthetic sensibility. After completion of an art history degree, summa cum laude, Ms. Davenport apprenticed at a New York art gallery, Daniel Brooks Inc., for five years. She began her own business in 1980 and has been dealing ever since with a main focus on the arts of Japan in all media, from ceramics to Noh masks, lacquer and paintings, and sculpture. Her client base includes major collectors, museums, and dealers from around the globe.
